How come the ladies on the Maury show act so darn silly? (crazy)?

I mean, with their circumstances, i completely understand why, but
man, why do they spaz out so much on television when so many people
can see them? A majority of them ARE black, so i guess that's kinda
understandable, but even the white ones and the mexicans.....WHY? haha

btw, i'm black too, so don't think i'm racist or anything....but i
don't really act like the sterotypical black person, behaving ghetto
and the like haha
